Front Ro!! Helping out the Arts


Ippatsu Salon, Circles Boutique, and Bacaro are collaborating together to bring an evening of sophistication and elegance to downtown Champaign.  A five course menu with wine pairings provided by Barcaro, fashion and models provided by Circles Boutique, and hair and make up provided by Ippatsu Salon, brings an evening of exquisite culinary talent, and  a fashion performance displaying Custo Barcelona, Betsy Johnson, Ivan Grundahl and Free People designs. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Dance Cambodia project.

On June 15th  Kirstie Simson, professor in dance at the University of Illinois, will be traveling with M.F.A graduates Renay Aumiller and Laura Chiarmonte to Arn Chorn Ponds school, Cambodian Living Arts World Education, in Cambodia to meet the masters and students at his school and work with Cambodian dancers and artists as well as Cambodian children.  Also they will be teaching workshops in Southern Cambodia at  a center for Cambodian dancers who have been injured through accidents involving mines Their mission is to share their art form with them and to learn about theirs. An exchange of art and culture which carries with it a message of peace and caring.

We will be documenting our journey together throughout our time in Taiwan and
Cambodia so that when we return to Urbana and the US we can share our adventures with anyone that would be interested.
